How I solved my RSI hand

Two core points here:

  • Rest. Lots of rest. Immediately stopping work whenever I had pain in my hand.
  • A trackball mouse. Not a vertical mouse, but a trackball mouse. This alleviated SO much of my pain.

Furthermore, a good, ergonomic work posture is of course very helpful. Just as stretching and movement.
